Who is behind Registro Médico PR
My name is Angel Anderson. I was born and live in Cabo Rojo. I am not a doctor. I built this registry because it happened to us: in May we were told the specialist appointment would be in October.
Who I am
I served 20 years in the United States Air Force, much of it as a Weapons Systems Instructor. Then I worked in marketing and business in the United States, Saudi Arabia, Alaska and Puerto Rico.
From Cabo Rojo I document my town with numbers, dates and sources: CaboRojo.com, MapaDeCaboRojo.com and El Veci, who answers by text at 787-417-7711. My page: angelanderson.com.
What this site is not
- It does not give medical advice. It helps you find who to call. What is wrong with you is for your doctor to decide.
- It does not belong to a health plan, a hospital or the government. I do not work for any of them.
- Nobody pays to be listed or to rank higher. We do not charge any doctor or any plan.
- It does not guarantee appointments. Being listed does not mean they answer or take your plan. Only a call tells you that.
How we work
The base is the federal provider registry (NPPES), the same one Medicare and the plans use. That proves the person exists and has a federal number, not that the phone gets answered. What a person or the office confirms shows on the profile with its date.
How much is just a copy of the federal registry and how much is confirmed, with numbers and dates: How we know what we say. Every change is logged in the history.
If you see something wrong
Write to me at angel@angelanderson.com or text 787-417-7711. I answer myself. If you are the doctor or the office, every profile has an "Is this your profile?" button to fix your data for free.
The story of why it exists, in 3 minutes.
